Elder Clifton & Sis. Chantel Goodloe, Jr.
Senior Pastor, Greater Damascus Church of Christ (Holiness) U.S.A. – Hazlehurst, MS
Elder Clifton Goodloe III, affectionately known by many as Pastor Cliff, is the Senior Pastor of Greater Damascus Church of Christ (Holiness) U.S.A., where he faithfully leads with passion, vision, and purpose. Appointed as the 7th pastor in the church’s storied history in January 2020, Elder Goodloe follows in the footsteps of his father, the late Elder Clifton Goodloe Jr., who served faithfully for 25 years.
Born and raised in Canton, MS, he is the sixth child of Elder Clifton and Delores Goodloe. Pastor Cliff has served in ministry for over two decades and is known for his dynamic preaching, pastoral care, and community advocacy. His messages combine biblical soundness, spiritual relevance, and practical application. Under his leadership, Greater Damascus has experienced renewed growth, youth engagement, and spiritual vitality.
Elder Clifton Goodloe serves as District Chairman of the Mid-South District and Vice Chairman of the National Board of District Chairmen for COCHUSA, providing leadership and oversight across regional and national church efforts. His strategic guidance has sparked innovative ministry initiatives and fostered stronger collaboration among churches.
A graduate of Mississippi State University, Pastor Cliff holds a Bachelor of Science degree, as well as a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Phoenix. He also brings a wealth of leadership experience from his role as Director of Operations at Nissan North America in Canton, MS, where he oversees large-scale manufacturing operations. His ability to bridge faith and leadership has made him a sought-after mentor and speaker across business and ministry circles.
A passionate advocate for missions and outreach, Pastor Cliff has led humanitarian projects in Haiti and Mexico, spearheaded youth mentorship programs, and championed community partnerships through the church.
A lover of the outdoors, he enjoys the rhythms of farm life—managing a registered Black Angus cattle operation, working the land, hunting, and fishing. He is also deeply passionate about leadership development, innovative technology, and building generational wealth.
Outside the pulpit, Pastor Cliff is a devoted husband and father. He is married to Lady Chantel Goodloe, and together they have two children, Camillia and Clifton IV. Above all, Pastor Cliff is committed to lifting Jesus, equipping believers, and expanding the Kingdom—one soul, one family, and one community at a time.
